Our Valuable Travel Protection Plan Including "Cancel For Any Reason" Benefits
If you purchase the General Tour Travel Protection Plan within 7 days of the inital deposit for your Trip you may cancel your trip up to 48 hours prior to departure, for any reason not otherwise covered by the Travel Protection P
lan, and receive a General Tours Travel Voucher for the penalty amount with the balance of the refund, if due, made either by check or credit card credit.
Please Note: the General Tours Pre-Departure "Cancel For Any Reason" Waiver does not apply to all travel programs and does not cover penalties associated with air or other travel arrangements not provided by General Tours and does not apply to visa costs. General Tours Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, valid for travel within 12 months of the date of issue, but no later than 15 months from the date your trip was canceled. The program eligibility for the "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit is clarified below.
Travel Protection for Cuba Programs
When you enroll in an Insight Cuba program, you automatically receive $1,000 of trip cancellation insurance. This $1,000 benefit covers the risk of cancellation, due to illness or injury and is included in the Core Travel Medical Insurance Plan. You may upgrade your trip cancellation insurance to a total of $5,000 coverage per participant.
In addition, upon enrollment you automatically receive an enhanced health and medical evacuation insurance policy. Medical coverage is in effect for the dates of your Insight Cuba program only. You may upgrade your coverage to the higher limits of Silver, Gold or Diamond Plus, which provides up to $500,000 in combined medical evacuation/transportation expenses, as well as increased limits for the other benefits.
